Paisa, Paisa, Paisaaaaa

Quote from Bill Gates

" If you are born poor, it's not your mistake.
But if you die poor, it's definitely your mistake"

As stated by Bill Gates,is money an important part? Yes, but I don't think so that it has a complete relevance in our life. Today it feels like everything around us starts & ends at money. Even, for marriage the first preference comes is money, the financial position of both bride & groom. Does money decide who should enter into a relationship. It indirectly means that money has the power to buy out relationships. Even in eduaction, earlier we gained education for knowledge but now before entering into a professional course the first question coming to mind is how much will be the pay scale after completion of the course. Yes, it is important that one should have money to satisfy his needs both necessity & luxury but money controlling a human being is not acceptable. Hoping that world will change around. Good Luck

Desi Rhymes

Following are some of the rhymes which aptly suites 21st Century.

The government's Reservation policy is hard to understand. Why not explain it using this modern nursery rhyme?

Baa, baa, black sheep, have you any wool?
Yes sir, yes sir, four bags full
One for the politicians, one for the bureaucrats,
One for the judges,
Fifty per cent of the other for the Dalits and the OBCs
And none for the common man.

What is happening in Mangalore becomes clear with the following modern nursery rhyme:

Mary had a little lamb,
Its fleece was white as snow,
The local Ram sena dyed it saffron,
And named Mary, Meenakshi,
In the honour of one of its sadhvis.

With IPL entrenched in Indian cricket, this one would come in handy:

Rain, rain, go away,
Come again, another day,
It is IPL season, and little Lalit Modi wants to play.

Anne Franks Diary

Hello everyone. Actually, I got an oppurtunity of reading some good books like "The White Tiger by Aravind Adiga" & " Anne Franks Diary by Anne Frank". Both the books were good ones. But anne franks was the best one for me. The way a 14 year old girl has written about her emotions, struggle, love, hatred, about her days in annexe its mind blowing. As my friend said, after reading that book one could never justify Adolf Hitler or the Nazist Party for the cruelties & tortures it had done towards the jews. After reading that book, I felt that the girl should have been alive. Seriously, its a very good book. Hope so that everyone will enjoy reading this book.

Scrapped

Congratulations to all the S.S.C students. Now its a new beginning for them, a new world called college life after their successful school life where students will make new friends, some may find a new love and its a place where you can have good memories for the future. So I wish good luck to all the students to enjoy their college life and pursue and explore in there career. En.. En.. but its a bad news to the future S.S.C batch as our HRD minister Kapil Sibal is planning to scrap the examination and taking the measures to have the common examination in all the state board. Do you think its a wise decision taken by the HRD cabinet ? Personally, I'm against this decision as it will lead to many problems for the students. Firstly, its the final stage in our school life where we have studied for many years. Secondly, its a base for the students in selecting their field where they can pursue up career. Thirdly, it will be an additional burden on the students appearing for the H.S.C examination as it will be there first preparation for the board examination in case the S.S.C examination is scrapped. Education being a state subject, it will be quite difficult for an unified examination pattern all over the country. Hence government can opt for the revision in the education pattern state wise and can have an equal examination system as with other boards like C.B.S.E and I.C.S.E where the examination marks are based on both internals and the written examination whereas in state its a total written examination. Government can also revive the syllabus by providing with more practical knowledge to students rather than more theoretical orientation. Hope so that all the students get an equal opportunity to explore and flourish in there career.
